you're killin me BC! That allmost yields near as much fillets as my offshore trip last week, and i bet you didn't travel 150 miles to get that either! Dang, a nice mess o' fish! Anyway, I didn't fish Thursday. With all the rain coming in Wed night I woke up Thurs morn with my back ailing me. Oh well, raining anyway, so I just hung out around the house and went to my chiropractor in the afternoon. Felt better this morning but had other things to take care of. Since Thurs is my normal fishing day (that's the day I get my fishing coupon, aka kitchen pass, from the little lady LOL), can't fish on Fri. So I just hung around the house today as well. Let me see, 10 months, 8 days till eligibility. I believe I'll have more than Thursday for fishing then.

Yeah it was nasty yesterday kinda drizziling real light but they bit pretty good. It don't last too long around here but sure is easy when they are biting. Walk down and get in the boat and go anchor and just sit. A gallon will last me for the whole speck season so it dont get much cheaper than that. I used to love that offshore stuff too. Still do but too rich for my blood now and kinda hard on a old body.

Yeah I thought about that a while back. I got one earlier this year over 4 when i added it to my weight on a bathroom scale. 161/2 inches to the fork of the tail, it was the biggest one i have ever caught and was good stuffed with crabmeat dressing.
