Just wondering whats bitten out there on the river or jetties? Any bait suggestions? Ahoy smoke-eater!
North end, Amelia Island area;
South and North Jetties (Georgia): 1/2 live crab for bait, Black Drum are coming in.
Fresh shrimp and/or squid: sea bass, grouper, flounder and pogies.
Amelia, Bell and St Mary's river's; fresh shrimp: whiting, flounder and sea bass.
Appears to me that our ocean water temperature is still a tad too cold for other edible fishies to be caught. However, that is the adventure and romance for me, to be out there, cause I never know what it is I will hook, as I reel my line in.
As usual, your mileage may vary.
