Went down to Port Charolette Friday and visited my friend, guy who I sold my last boat I built to. We were going to tarpon fish some but it was blowing about 30 knots so we passed. We caught a lot of snook off the dock at night, mostly smaller ones but a few keepers also. He has a underwater light and they stack up like cordwood around it. Pretty cool to watch them hit it.

There's a chance I might be going to Boca Grande this summer. I hope I can get into some snook while there. The last time was a bust on snook, but a really good week on trout, reds and particularly mangrove snapper. Ate seafood every night, but I still want to taste snook.

Think its closed season in summer, they are great eating. Caught some really big ones at Boca around the phospate dock and bridges at night on live ladyfish, they will eat a really big bait.
