The last offshore boat I built with my buddy I sold it to on the tower. Fished it for years here and in the gulf and after I sold it to him fished it from Key West to Glouster for tuna and Boca Gande in the gulf. The ball anchored by the boat is a green underwater light thats loaded with snook at night.

Built boats cause never had enough money to buy what i wanted mostly and enjoyed it too.

Pretty neat. I do a little woodworking and have thought about trying my hand at a canoe or skiff of some sort. Any pointers as to good resources to check out? I've found plenty of sites on Google but any recommendations?

Some good books for building strip canoes , saw one but dont remember the name of it. Hard to find any wood decent to build anything out of around here. Start with something small, I aint that good with wood but persistant lol.
