black creek member Registered: 12/13/08 Posts: 89 Loc: Green Cove Sp. Fl	I aint a expert but have done lots of glass work and built plugs and moulds. Fiberglass reinforced plastics are usually laminated in moulds, the mould has the finish already from the plug and the part is a reverse mirror image of the mould. If you build a part without a mould to get a yacht finish is labor intensive but can be done. There are a few tricks to make it easier to build witout a mould. if I can help you be glad to give you my 2 cents for what its worth.

Being a one off console no need for a mould If i were to produce these I would have done a mould. almost done sanded filled sanded sanded sanded & then sanded somemore. it's almost done. _________________________ fish all day fish all night a fishing life for me.
