Fished this morning and tried to catch some big shinners but no luck with big ones. Had a few small shinners and some bream and drug them around a while. Had 5 nice bass up to about 4 lbs and this old hog on a stumpknocker about the size on your hand, 25 inches and 10 lbs or more, would have been really big before the spawn. Forgot the camera so had her in livewell for the pictures and chunked her back in the creek.

Wow how about sharing some insight on bass fishing Black creek. I dont do well there. Where do you fish and do you just bang the bank and all the fallen trees with worms?

Randy, I caught these in a lake near my house, a old minning pit. I only fish Black Creek in March for a few weeks before they go on the bed but catch some big ones then on real big shinners fishing under grass in the canal where I live.

Heck of a nice fish there BC. Sweet!
