Got on the water around mid-morning Tuesday to enjoy the 70 degree weather after what felt like a long, cold winter. Started out slow with the slack tide but as the tide began moving in the bite picked up. Caught half a dozen rat reds and half a dozen 12-13" black drum and finished up with a 19" Black drum and a 24" Red, both of which joined the wife and I for dinner laugh Saw a few Kayakers out, and a few stinkpots.

Way to go man, sounds like some pretty good action and a few keepers to eat to boot. I speck fished that afternoon in Black Creek and it stunk, go figure, at least it was a pretty day.

Oh yeah, those Black Drum the size you caught are some really good eating!

Skippy, glad to see some one is getting out there to do some fishing. Good job. I haven't fished since November. Been way too busy with other stuff.
