I've been out of the loop for such a long time. No time for fishing this year due to other stuff, but, I finally got out to do some surf fishing with Angie yesterday at Peters Point.

We got out there just after low tide. Fishing was real slow to start, with occasional small bonnet heads and several catfish. About halfway up the incoming tide things started to kick off with whiting. The surf was what I would guess about shoulder/head high at this point and the current was running north. I usually use 2 ounce sputnik type weights but today 4 was needed. We ran out of shrimp about 1:00 pm. I had a brisket to put on the smoker anyway. Total tally was 23 whiting. Hey Jack, what's up? Maybe next time. It was just a spur of the moment thing with just me and Angie. Anytime she wants to go fishing with me is always a date. HA!

I understand. We'll get together one of these days and slay some more whiting.

By the way, I'm retired. We can fish anytime you want.

How's retirement? I'm eligible, just can't afford it.

Retirement is great. Difficult to remember that I just can't go out and buy anything my heart desires, like I could when I was working. Playing golf three times a week. Life is good.

Haven't played golf since I moved from the old house! My TA 845's are collecting dust! RDO's currently and for next year are Thurs Fri. Let's get together for either. Next Fri I have a retirement party to go to. Unfortunately it's not mine. HA! But, it's for a fellow ATCer. But, if the weather is good, I'm up for next Thurs or Fri AM. What say you? Golf or fishing. Your choice.
