My name is Mark Summerlin (aka Fishtails), owner/operator of Fish-Tails.Net and FirstCoastAngler.com

Many of you, if you were members of Fish-Tails.Net, are wondering what happened to the old site and why it was closed. In June of this year the old site was maliciously attacked by hackers. Thanks to an old member/friend, JiminGa, a Malware issue was discovered. Ultimately I had to close the site unexpectedly until I could determine where the security breach occurred as well as repair the damage done. Some of the damage was permanent and ireversible. That being said I have moved "Fish-Tails, Home of the First Coast Angler" from fish-tails.net to it's new permanent home at FirstCoastAngler.com. Undoubtedly additional security measures have been put in to place to protect the site as well as the members privacy.

At any rate, the site has a new face. I would like to welcome back old members and new members alike. If you are a returning member from fish-tails.net you will find your account will need to be reopened due to some of the old data being corrupted and not in a state of retrieval. Other forums will be added as time permits.

I welcome any suggestions and feedback. Any issue regarding the site, whether a software issue or with an inappropriate post, should be directed to me via PM (private messaging system).
